How to score yourself Apple AirPods for just $99 thanks to eBay
This red hot deal is for one day only, so you're going to have to be quick.
Tech giant Apple has become world renowned thanks to its sleek and innovative products. What it hasn't become known for though, is affordable products or generous discounts. Which is why the news that eBay is about to start dropping Apple AirPods for just $99 ($150 off the RRP) is absolutely HUGE.
Beginning today at 10am, eBay will start releasing sets of the cult-favourite in-ear headphones on the hour every hour up until 5pm. The deal is available exclusively to eBay Plus members, so if you aren't already a member, you might want to sign up now. eBay Plus membership is $49 for 12 months and includes a 30-day trial period, which serves as the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the AirPods deal.
The $99 offer is part of eBay's Winter Sale which will see a bunch of other great deals such as $114 off the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer, $217.35 off the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and $216 off the Dyson Hot+Cool Fan Heater. While some deals are exclusive to eBay Plus members, others will be available to all eBay shoppers, so it's worth a look in even if you aren't a member.
For those who haven't tried out the Airpods before, the in-ear buds are quite the nifty little invention. Once you've completed the easy set-up process, the headphones will automatically sense when they're in your ears and pause when you take them out. You can also skip songs by simply double-tapping the buds or access the Apple voice-assistant Siri by saying, "Hey Siri."
eBay Australia's Sophie Onikul has said in a realease, "We know Aussies love a bargain – especially when it comes to popular items from brands like Apple, Dyson and Google. At eBay we're proud to offer shoppers unbeatable range and value – with deals that are truly out-of-this-world – all year round."
If you are keen on getting yourself a pair of the headphones, it's worth noting that during eBay's recent Plus Weekend AirPods sold out within minutes, and that's without the huge discount eBay is slinging today. So if you want to grab yourself a pair, you're going to have to be very quick.
