You can link an ANZ Visa Debit Card to a range of ANZ everyday transaction accounts. It’s not a prepaid card that you need to load with money, the card allows you to make purchases in stores and online all around the world with your own money directly from your linked ANZ bank account. You can also use the card to make cash withdrawals from ATMs.
The ANZ Visa Debit Card comes with Visa payWave, so you can tap and go for purchases less than $100 without entering your PIN. You can also link the card to digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay and use your phone to make purchases, instead of the actual plastic debit card.
The fees charged depend on the ANZ account that you’re linking the card to. A few ANZ accounts you can link your debit card with include the ANZ Access Advantage Account for personal customers, or the the ANZ Access Basic Account for concession card holders.
