In this case, you may want to wait a few months and then find a card that suits your needs and also has eligibility requirements you can meet. You can check these pages for helpful tips and see more options:

    Hi,

I’ve been told by ANZ that all their balance transfer offer have 2% balance transfer fee for doing it.
I asked about applying from this website if this 2% fee still applies or not, I was told it still applies. however I can’t see it in anywhere on your website or while applying this Card about this 2% charge.
Will they charge this 2% fee or not?

    Thanks

      Hi Kate,

      Thank you for your enquiry.

As a general rule of thumb, a fee may apply to balances transferred from a non-ANZ credit, charge or store card to an ANZ credit card as part of a promotional offer. The applicable fee would be advised in the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.

For the current offer in question, there is no balance transfer fee applicable.

We would always encourage the same diligence as you have applied here to check. Thanks for your question!

      Kind regards,
      Jason

My wife and I are about to go on a cruise around the Baltic. I have been the holder of an ANZ Platinum credit card for about 10 years. I have used this card to pay for our cruise and air fares to Copenhagen and return.
I am just checking that our journey is insured under the fact of just being the holder of an ANZ Platinum card or whether there is something else that I need to do to inform ANZ or QBE that we are departing on this holiday.

I had an ANZ credit card before in the last 12 months. Am I still eligible for this offer?

      MayApril 7, 2017Staff

      Hi Ling,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

Are you applying for the ANZ Platinum Credit Card to take advantage of the balance transfer and purchase rate promo? If so, I’m afraid that this exclusive offer is only available to new and approved credit card applicants who apply through finder.com.au. with the balance transfer.

Meantime, the balance transfer and purchase rate offer is not available in conjunction with other offers or packages or in respect of balances transferred from an existing ANZ account.

      Cheers,
      May

I am already a customer of ANZ and have a credit card with ANZ [but not an ANZ Platinum Credit Card] am I still eligible for the 0% and no fee balance transfer if transferring a balance from another banks credit card?

      Hi Stuart,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

If you are transferring a balance from a non-ANZ credit card, then you may be able to apply for this card. Please make sure though to read the eligibility criteria, features and details of the card, as well as the relevant PDS/ T&Cs of the card before making a decision and consider whether the product is right for you.
