      Hi Harman,

      Thanks for your question.

If you are referring to the Qantas FF number, you will need to do register to the Qantas FF program through Qantas’ website to be able to get one, but this is with a cost. However, on this page, you can learn more about the many ways how you can join the Qantas FF program for free.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,

Required documents to apply for a Frequent Flyer Card includes accountant contact details if self employed. I am self employed but do not use an accountant. What alternative proofs do you require?

      Hi Sheila,

Please note that finder.com.au is a financial comparison and information service and is not ANZ.

Your accountant’s details are necessary when applying for a credit card as a self-employed because the bank needs proofs of your financial status. You could visit ANZ’s nearest branch or call their customer service to inquire if they accept alternative proofs.

      Cheers,
      Anndy

    Hi
What exactly is a statement period?
I would be interested in going overseas, if I spend the equivalent money to earn 5000 points, is this all credited to my frequent flyer or only the 1500 visa / 3000 amex.

    • Staff
      JonathanMarch 7, 2016Staff

Hi Glenn, thanks for your inquiry!

The statement period will depend on when your account was opened. To request a change in your statement period please contact ANZ directly. I have sent these contact details to your email. Any eligible spending will accumulate points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

      Cheers,

      Jonathan

      Hi Gil,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

There are a few different ways you can check your account balance. You can use ANZ Internet Banking and phone or mobile banking. Make sure you have the copy of your Customer registration number (CRN), credit card, debit card or Access card number with you as these will be needed on checking your balance. Please refer to this page on how to manage your ANZ credit card.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,

      Sally

Have other ANZ Visa credit FF card customers who spent the $3000 in three months now been told they are not eligible for the 50,000 FF points because they already had an ANZ FF Visa Card?

      Hi Mike,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

As mentioned in the terms and conditions, “This offer is only available to new and approved applicants who apply for an ANZ Frequent Flyer credit card account. This is a limited time only offer which may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice. Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Frequent Flyer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Gold, ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum or ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card within the previous twelve months.”

    Hi there,
Can you use this card to pay things like rent, utilities, direct debits for memberships etc?
Also, can I cancel the card at any time with no obligations?
    Thanks

    • Staff
      SallySeptember 28, 2015Staff

      Hi Amy,

      Thank you for your question.

Yes, you can use the ANZ Frequent Flyer credit card for these transactions. However, you’ll have to refer to the terms and conditions to confirm whether they’re considered eligible purchases that will accrue points.

Yes, you should be able to cancel the card so long as you don’t have any outstanding balances. However, you’ll need to get in contact with ANZ directly to confirm the protocol for cancelling your card.

      I hope this has helped.

      Thanks,

      Sally
