Anastasia Beverly Hills may be better known for its range of amazing eyebrow products, but ever since news dropped back in April that it was developing a new foundation, the beauty community has waited with bated breath to get a look at the new product. Now, that wait is finally over with ABS taking to Instagram this morning to share a first look at the glowing new line.
Titled "Luminous", the new foundation will be arriving in a massive 50 shade range, meaning that it shouldn't be too difficult to find your perfect colour match. With medium coverage and a natural finish, ABH president (and Anastasia's daughter) Norvina has described the product as "the most skin-like foundation." Excited yet? We sure are.
The long-wear formula is also suitable for sensitive skin, free from alcohol and fragrances, dermatologist tested, clinically tested and vegan, in case you needed any more reasons to start saving your cash for a bottle (or three). You can check out the extensive shade range below.
If that's not enough to get excited about, the beauty brand has also announced 5 essential setting powders to complement the foundation line. Made to suit all skin tones, the powder is available in Translucent (everyone), Vanilla (fair to light), Banana (medium to deep), Deep Peach (medium to deep) and Golden Orange (deep) shades.
Better yet, ABH have said that the butter smooth formula controls oil without drying under the eyes which is, frankly, quite impressive.

If all of that has you itching to get your hands on the new products, you'll be happy to know that you won't have to wait too long. The foundation and powders are set to land on both the ABH site and the Ulta Beauty site on 4 August. Following the initial drop, the new line will then become available both online and in-store from usual Anastasia Beverly Hills stockists from 15 August, meaning that we should be able to buy it from Sephora here in Australia.
The Luminous Foundation is set to retail for US$38 while the setting powders will go for US$36, which is around the price range we would expect to see from the brand. Given the amount of hype that the product announcements are currently raking up online, we can imagine that the first drop will be an absolute sellout, so you'll have to be quick if you aren't prepared to wait for a restock.
