AMO is a decentralised network built on Ethereum infrastructure with a view to sharing automobile data among a community of users. How many people go to a mechanic and, upon receiving the bill, are unsure of what’s a legitimate cost or if they’re being extorted? AMO intends to take the guesswork out of automobile ownership, allowing consumers to take control of their finances. By sharing data from repairs, travel times, petrol costs and consumption, not only will it aim to assist automobile users, but service providers and car manufacturers too. No longer will pivotal data be controlled by centralised, private business. Instead, it will be a public asset that all automobile owners can contribute to. AMO plans to create an "AMO market", where a high level of adoption and rewards will incentivise users to distribute their data to others in the community. An application known as the "AMO Data Collector" will be employed to collect and share this data, creating a high-value network that will increase efficiency and knowledge in the vehicle sector. AMO is the native ERC-20 token of the AMO network and it's used to incentivise users to collate and share important automobile data. By integrating with third parties (governments, car manufacturers, dealerships, etc.), the AMO token will allow for seamless purchasing of data among users.
