The countdown to Vivid Sydney 2018 is on! Kicking off on 25 May 2018, the three-week festival will transform Sydney into a technicoloured wonderland of lights and installations. And in good news for American Express cardholders, Amex has once again joined forces with Vivid Sydney to offer cardholders exclusive perks! Although some of the benefits won't kick in until Vivid starts, Amex card members can take advantage of a bunch of cashback offers starting from today.

Relax in the American Express lounge

You can escape the crowds and enjoy one of the best views of the Vivid lights at the exclusive American Express lounge. Located at the Cruise Bar Rooftop on level 3 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay, you can indulge in some complimentary food and drinks while taking in incredible panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House.

Card members can bring one guest to the lounge (unless you have an Amex Platinum or Centurion card, then you can bring two guests). Just make sure to show your card at the entry to get access to the lounge on the night!

The perks don’t end at the lounge either. Amex is also treating its cardholders to a bunch of cashback offers, allowing you to get more bang for your buck whether you’re booking dinner, catching public transport or seeing the lights from Taronga Zoo during the Vivid festival.
