      Hi Ray,

      Thanks for your inquiry

According to the terms and conditions of the card, existing Westpac customers who currently hold an Altitude Platinum Visa Card or Altitude Black Mastercard, or who have held one in the last 12 months, are not eligible for this offer. If it has been more than 12 months since you held the card, you may be able to receive the bonus points for this promo.

      Hope this information helps

      Cheers,
      Arnold

    Hi there,
Currently doing an application for Westpac Altitude Platinum (Qantas) card. During the application process, it is prompting for ‘Promo code’. It was initially filled automatically ‘AFF75’, but this is not going through. Is there a specific code for this Bonus points offer through finder?
    Thanks

      NikkiJuly 5, 2018Staff

      Hi Moh,

Thanks for leaving a question on our page.

Unless otherwise stated in our exclusive offers page, you can get promo codes for credit card applications directly from the bank’s website. If there are exclusive offers on finder for a credit card, you simply have to apply for a card through finder by clicking the GO TO SITE button and when you get redirected to the provider’s page THROUGH FINDER’S WEBSITE.

For the American Express Westpac Altitude Platinum Bundle, there is no promo code to get the bonus points. As stated on our page: When you apply through finder by 31 July 2018, you can earn up to 90,000 bonus Qantas Points when you meet the spend criteria. When you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first 90 days of approval with your Visa, you’ll get 75,000 bonus points. If you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first 90 days of approval with your Amex, you’ll earn 15,000 bonus Qantas Points. When you apply through finder by 31 July 2018, you’ll also save with a reduced annual fee for the first year.

      Hope this clarifies.

      Regards,
      Nikki

    Hi,

Can you please clarify whether I’d still be eligible to the full 90k QFF points if the two $3k purchases are made at the same merchant at the same time (ie. payment splits)?

    Thanks

      JeniJuly 6, 2018Staff

      Hi Zero,

Thank you for getting in touch with finder.

That is fine. As long as you pay $3,000 or more using each card either in one payment or installments within 90 days of account opening to get your 90,000 bonus points. Please note that the minimum spend required to get bonus points usually relates to eligible purchases only. These can vary between cards, but they usually include everyday spending on groceries, petrol, dining and retail shopping. Common exclusions are cash advances, BPAY transactions and government charges.

      I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other enquiries.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,
      Jeni

Can I just confirm you will need to spend $6000 ($3000 Visa + $3000 Amex) in the first 90 days to receive the 90k bonus offer?

Also are you eligible for the bonus points if you already hold an Amex card?

      Hi Diane,

Thank you for getting in touch with finder.

Your site states that the bundle offer with 90000 bonus points is only available if you apply online through finder.com.au, however you can only access the application after you click on the Go to Westpac’s website button? Does that still count as applying through finder?
    Thanks

      Hi Vicki,

Thank you for getting in touch with finder.

Once you click on Go to site button, it automatically redirects you to Westpac’s page to proceed with the online application so it is absolutely fine.
