Amazon gets two big acquisitions for its streaming video service.

After receiving 11 Emmy nominations and taking home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series this year, the critically acclaimed TV series This Is Us is making its way to Amazon Prime Video later this month.

The move comes as part of an international licensing agreement between Amazon Prime Video and 20th Century Fox Television, with the multi-year deal securing the rights to multiple seasons of the award-winning drama.

"This Is Us is one of the best new TV series, beloved by viewers and acclaimed by critics," said Brad Beale, Vice President of Worldwide Television Acquisition for Amazon.

Additionally, Amazon Prime Video has snapped up the rights to the TV adaptation of The Exorcist, another popular 20th Century Fox property.

Both series will be available to stream exclusively on PrimeVideo.com beginning later this month.
