Any item marked as "shipped by Amazon AU" is eligible for free two-day delivery to metro addresses. Delivery to non-metro addresses is also free, but may take anywhere between three and five business days.
To benefit from free international delivery, you must order items marked as "shipped by Amazon US" and your total order must cost $49 or more.
Amazon Prime members can take advantage of release-date delivery on select video games, movies, books, music and more by placing an order at least two business days before a product releases. Provided you live in a metro area, you will receive your order the same day it releases.
Along with free expedited shipping, Amazon Prime members receive a discount on priority shipping for eligible items fulfilled by either Amazon AU or Amazon US. Prime members receive a $2 discount on priority shipping from Amazon AU and a $10 discount on priority international shipping from Amazon US. Depending on where you live, priority shipping can be as fast as one business day for domestic orders.
Amazon Australia accepts returns both when the item you ordered is faulty and when you simply change your mind.
For faulty items, Amazon advises initiating a refund within 30 days of delivery. It will still consider providing a refund, replacement or repair if you apply for a refund outside of that 30-day window, but your eligibility will be decided on a case-by-case basis. If Amazon determines that the fault was a result of mishandling or mistreatment on your part, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you want to return an item because you've changed your mind, you must return the item in its original, unopened packaging within 30 days of delivery. Any shipping costs incurred during the original order won't be refunded.
