Amazon Prime Day 2020 streaming deals: Here are the best discounts

Here are the best of the Amazon Prime Day streaming deals you can score yourself.
Shopping conglomerate Amazon, is back with its annual sales event Prime Day. And this year you can score yourself a streaming bargain. Whether you're looking for a TV, universal remote, Blu-ray players, HDMI cables or cheap movies, Amazon has discounts for all of them.
Here are all the best deals so far, split between hardware and streaming. We have only included deals with at least 20% off the RRP. (Note: Some deals are applied at checkout, so click through to see the full discount.)

Amazon Prime Day streaming deals
- 99c movie rentals. Some of the popular titles available include Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Borat, Dirty Dancing, Terminator: Dark Fate, Romeo and Juliet and Split.
- $2.99 movie rentals. Titles available include 1917, The Assistant, Venom, Guns Akimbo, The Hunt and Brock: Over the Top.
- Buy movies for as low as $4.99. Transformers: The Last Knight, Borat, Glass, Star Trek Beyond and Alita: Battle Angel
Amazon hasn't extended its Prime Video or Amazon Music free trials for Prime Day. They currently remain at 30-days for Prime Video and 90-days for Amazon Music.
If you couldn't find the deal you were looking for, you may be interested in Prime Day tech deals. At this stage Amazon hasn't advertised any specials on popular streaming hardware like Amazon Fire TV stick, Google Chromecast and more.
However, if you keep an eye on Amazon's website during Prime Day they may pop up. Amazon will make more streaming discounts, including Lightning Deals and Deals Of The Day, available throughout the Prime Day sales period.
Amazon Prime Day runs between 13-14 October. Aussies can also access deals from the US site via the Amazon Global Store until 6pm on Thursday 15 October. Click here to see everything.
Do I need to be an Amazon Prime member?
Yes, you'll need to have an Amazon Prime membership to access the Prime Day deals. Though don't let that put you off. Amazon Prime comes with a 30-day free trial.
On top of getting access to Prime Day deals you'll also get free delivery on thousands of eligible items, access to Prime reading, Prime Video and Prime Music. If you wish to continue on after the free trial Amazon Prime costs $6.99 a month or $59 a year. You can sign up for a membership here.
