The products are often quite pricey though, which is why Amazon's Prime Day sale is a great time to stock up. Currently, Amazon is slashing up to 45% off a selected range of products, including the popular Play Ambiance Smart LED Bar Light.

The bar light includes a huge array of colours that can be used to create different lighting effects, whether you're relaxing or watching TV. It can also be controlled using Alexa, the Apple HomeKit or the Google Assistant.

How do I shop Amazon's Prime Day deals?

To shop Amazon Prime Day, you need to be an Amazon Prime member, which means that you'll need to sign up if you haven't done so already.

As well as letting you access the Prime Day deals, an Amazon Prime membership will also get you free delivery on eligible items, unlimited access to over 1,000 books and magazines with Prime reading, unlimited access to movies and TV episodes with Prime Video and ad-free songs and playlists with Prime Music.

It also includes a 30-day free trial, after which it costs $6.99 a month.

Amazon Prime Day is set to conclude at 11:59pm on Wednesday 14 October. Deals from the US site will also then be available to Australians through the Amazon Global Store until 6pm on Thursday 15 October.
