If you're yet to invest in a smart speaker, today is the time to do so, with an absolutely massive offer available at Amazon Australia.

Right now, you can pick up an Echo Dot (3rd Gen) for just $10 when you sign up for an Amazon Prime membership. Usually priced at $59, that's a saving of $49 off.

An Amazon Prime subscription comes with plenty of additional perks, including fast and free delivery on eligible orders, access to exclusive deals and unlimited access to movies and TV episodes with Prime Video.

It also includes a 30-day free trial, which means you can try it risk-free and still take advantage of your Echo Dot discount in the meantime.

How to get Amazon's $10 Echo Dot deal

To shop the deal, simply sign up for an Amazon Prime account. You can then head to the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) product page and follow the prompts to access the offer.

The deal is set to wrap up at 11:59pm AEST tomorrow (9 September), so you do only have a limited time to make the most of it.

Unfortunately, the offer is only available to new Prime subscribers so, if you are already a member, you're currently out of luck.

With Black Friday right around the corner though, we can expect to see Amazon slash the price of its Echo devices for current members very soon.

About the Echo Dot (3rd Gen)

If you aren't already familiar with the popular device, the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) is a smaller version of Amazon Echo, Amazon's voice-controlled smart speaker.

The Echo Dot can perform all the same functions as Amazon Echo via Alexa, including answering questions; providing news, weather and traffic information; playing music and controlling other smart devices around your house.
