Here's how Amazon Australia compares with Woolies and Coles for household cleaning products.

Online shopping giant Amazon has finally opened its doors in Australia with its full range of retail products. It's clear that our supermarkets will need to drop their prices if they want to remain competitive.

We've completed a quick comparison of randomly selected cleaning products to see if you stand to save money shopping on Amazon. Surprisingly, you may even be better just buying all your items at Woolies.

Altogether, you can save a few bucks here (and it all adds up), but only if Coles and Woolies are selling their items at full price.
