Does Amazon Australia sell cameras?

At the moment, no – Amazon Australia does not sell cameras. However, after their fully functioning launch scheduled for 2018 (providing all goes to plan), we will be able to buy our cameras, equipment and accessories direct from Amazon Australia.

Does Amazon UK/US ship cameras to Australia?

Yes, Amazon UK and Amazon US both offer international delivery of cameras to Australia.


How long will shipping be?

There are several shipping options on offer to Australia from both Amazon US and Amazon UK.

Amazon US shipment times:

Standard: 9–12 working days

Expedited: 7–11 working days

Priority: 2–5 working days

Amazon UK shipment times:

Standard: 5–10 working days

Priority: 4–6 working days


How much will shipping cost?

The shipping options are charged at standard rates plus additional charges per kg (UK) or lbs (US). Pricing is outlined below.

Amazon US shipping:

Standard: US$4.99 + US$2.99/lb – approximately $6.17 + $3.70/lb

Expedited: US$7.99 + US$3.49/lb – approximately $9.88 + $4.31/lb

Priority: US$29.99 + US$3.99/lb – approximately $37.07 + $4.93/lb

Amazon UK shipping:

Standard: GBP10.99 + GBP3.99/kg – approximately $17.86 + $6.48/kg

Priority: GBP19.99 + GBP3.99/kg – approximately $32.49 + $6.48/kg

Amazon UK’s most popular cameras include brands such as Sony, Nikon and Canon. Amazon US bestsellers are compiled of the same line-up.

Will cameras be cheaper on Amazon Australia?

Amazon’s competitive pricing will mean that you’ll be hard pressed to find a better deal than what Amazon Australia offers (once it’s launched, that is). It will be substantially cheaper to order from Amazon Australia compared with Amazon UK and US due to there not being a need for international shipping charges.
