New NBN customers can grab a month's free broadband with amaysim, but only for a limited time.

Choosing the right provider for your NBN connection is something that takes careful consideration because while the infrastructure will remain the same no matter your provider, the speed and support you get from different Internet service providers (ISPs) selling access to the NBN can vary widely.

amaysim's latest foray into NBN service provision suggests that it's very confident that users will be happy with its service, offering up a month's access absolutely free to any new NBN customer.

The offer is available with any of amaysim's NBN plans, which are currently offered at the 12/1, 25/5 and 100/40 speed tiers. As with its mobile plans, amaysim structures its NBN offerings around a month-to-month plan structure with no activation fees, so the only absolute cost you might face in connecting to the NBN with amaysim would be the purchase of an NBN-ready modem if you don't already have the hardware. amaysim's preferred NBN-ready modem is the $140 NetComm NF17ACV, but you can bring your own modem to the service if you prefer.

This deal is quite time-limited, with a free month only available if you sign up before 30 June 2017.

Not sure if your home or office is already NBN-ready, or when you're likely to get it? You can always check our NBN tracker.
