Get year-long value with amaysim's 365-day prepaid mobile plans on sale till the end of August.

amaysim is extending its long-expiry special, helping you pay less than $1 per GB for the next year.

There are 2 offers up for grabs:

  • 60GB for $99 for the first 365 days, then $120 after
  • 200GB for $179 for the first 365 days, then $200 after

That makes these mobile plans the equivalent of $8.50 and $15 a month respectively, which isn't too shabby at all.

It's only available until the end of the month so you'll need to sign up by 27 August if you want to take advantage of this deal.

If you were to sign up to either of amaysim's plans, you'll get:

  • Access to the Optus 4G network
  • Unlimited data banking
  • Unlimited international calls and text to 28 selected countries on its 200GB plan
  • International roaming add-ons available to purchase
  • Keep in mind that this plan lasts for 365 days so you'll need to stagger out your mobile usage, especially if you've signed up to the smaller 60GB plan.

Is this amaysim offer worth it?

amaysim will suit most people, with fairly priced plans compared to their competition. It also offers a couple of additional features like international inclusions and add-ons, and data rollover which isn't available with every other provider.

But if you're looking for a good value long expiry plan without all the extra bells and whistles, consider checking out Catch's Finder exclusive promotion, which is $10 cheaper than amaysim's. You only have till August 8 to snatch Catch's offer though.

      Hi John,
There’s no direct comparison between one of amaysim’s plans and Australia Post’s. The deal for amaysim’s 60GB plan is $99 and has a 365 day expiry, which is $1.65 a GB. Australia Post has only one 365 day expiry plan, which you get 100GB of data for $150, or $1.50 a GB. Keep in mind that after the deal ends, the price of amaysim’s 60GB plan will be $120, which is $2 a GB. The closest equivalent Australia Post plan in regards to data is its 50GB plan for $40, but it only lasts 30 days and not a year like amaysim’s 60GB offer.
