Beauty product of the week: ALYA Skin Pink Clay Mask
Say hello to a whole lot of pink as well as perfect skin.
Hello, me again. Your friendly neighbourhood mask junkie. Seriously, when it comes to masks, I feel like I've tried my fair share. Especially clay masks. I've dabbled with the Ole Henrikson Cold Plunge pore mask, the Sand and Sky pink clay mask and now the ALYA Skin pink clay mask. Pretty much, I'm a professional mask tester. It's a real thing – I swear.
Why we love this product
When this Australian skincare branded mask landed on my desk, I was more than ready to slather it on my face. With ingredients like kaolin clay, aloe vera, pomegranate and witch hazel, I knew my skin was in for a well-deserved treat.
Similar to other clay masks I've tried, I felt a cooling and tingling sensation as I smoothed it over my skin. As the mask began drying it transitioned from the pale pink colour to a matte white shade. Following the instructions, I waited 10 minutes then proceeded to wash the mask off.
In my experience, my skin can feel a little dry and stiff after using a clay mask because I have quite dehydrated skin. However, I genuinely didn't have that feeling after using this mask. My skin felt as though I had used a hydrating cleanser rather than a clay mask and I was digging it.
"Our mask is great for combination and sensitive skin - it doesn't dry out your skin and leaves a moisturising effect after use. It literally makes your skin feel baby soft!" stated founders James and Manny to Finder. "We have ensured to only use ingredients to cater for a wide range of skin types!"
After using this product I did automatically feel like I could see results. No joke. My pores looked more refined, my skin felt quite glowing and pimples had cleared in record timing.
This mask does sit at the pricier end of the scale but honestly, it's worth it. It retails for $87.49 but with the current sale you can snap it up for $49.99. A small amount of product really goes a long way and with the results you receive, the price point doesn't feel steep.
So when and where can you buy it?
The best part is that this mask is now available from pharmacies around Australia. That means you can add the ALYA Skin pink clay mask in your next Priceline haul quick and easy.
