Alexander Wang x adidas Season 6: When and where you can buy
The sixth and final collaborative project between adidas and Alexander Wang is here – this is everything you need to know.
Alexander Wang and adidas are back with a brand new collaboration. As any loyal fans will know, this isn't the first collaboration between the two creative houses – it's the sixth! We were really obsessed with the fourth and fifth rounds which were all about redefining streetwear.
This one in particular is called Season 6 and it's inspired by Internet hacker culture. The style is unique and futuristic while taking on a theme of club-leisure. What is that exactly? It's where you can walk into a party, rocking a fabulous set of comfortable activewear. The pieces are designed with clubbing in mind (while staying comfortable).
When can you get your hands on the sixth collection? Mark your calendars and set those reminders – the release date is set for 13 December. You'll be able to shop directly from adidas and Alexander Wang online. There's no confirmed stockists at this stage, but we have a feeling it may be Farfetch and SSENSE.
What's included in the Alexander Wang x adidas Season 6 collection?
Alexander Wang x adidas Season 6 includes an array of puffers, athleisure fits and futuristic sneakers. While all of the items are unisex, you can clearly sense the overall theme of powerful femininity.
Take your pick from a knit high-cut bodysuit, a metallic silver sports bra and biker short set, and a statement zip-up jacket. The items arrive with bold branding throughout, with striking black and metallic tones. We're absolutely obsessed with the printed red "NYC" logos throughout.
If you're into sneakers, you need to check out the ones designed by Alexander Wang. There are three shoe silhouettes to choose from and trust us, the decision is very hard. All of the styles maintain a unique colour combination and the signature flipped adidas branding, made famous by Alexander Wang.
The Turnout Trainer is easily a stand-out style. It looks very modern as it arrives in a space-style synthetic upper. There's also a unique lacing system and high-cut sock collar.
On the other hand, both the Puff Trainer and the Bball Soccer shoe offer mesh and suede constructions with thick and comfortable midsoles.
