Here we go again. Another season of the A-League is back. The 2019-20 season will see the addition of a new club, Western United. Based out of Victoria's west, they will become the competition's 11th team.

Who plays in round 1 of the A-League?

The first match of the season is Adelaide United vs Sydney FC on Friday 11 October at 7:30pm AEDT. There's also a tantalising derby first up between the two Melbourne clubs, with Melbourne Victory vs Melbourne City on Saturday night at 7:30pm AEDT.

The Wanderers vs Mariners on Saturday and both will be hoping for better seasons. Across the ditch Wellington Phoenix vs Western United. Elsewhere Perth Glory will battle Robbie Fowler's Brisbane Roar in the final match of the round.

Every team play this weekend, except Newcastle Jets, who have a bye. Check out our full A-League schedule.
