When ALDImobile switches over fully to 4G, it will also change its plan pricing.

We already knew that ALDImobile will be switching customers over to Telstra’s 4G network by the end of April. Now ALDI has announced also announced a slew of new plan changes to take effect on 28 April 2016 as part of that switch, which .

Plan pricing on each Value Pack tier doesn’t differ, but each plan gets a boost in its data allowance. However, in return ALDImobile appears to be dropping its "Weekend Data" bonus offering. Depending on your weekend usage that could technically mean you lose a little data usage over a typical month compared to the old plans. (If you find bonus data on weekends useful, it's still an option with Boost Mobile, which also runs on Telstra's 4G network.)

Under the new plans, ALDImobile is lining up with the vast majority of the rest of the mobile industry and offering 1GB data boosts for a flat $10. While it initially appeared that the older data boost packs would be retired, Aldi's new plan page reports no change to those offerings under the new deals.

Like fellow supermarket mobile provider Woolworths, ALDImobile is switching to Telstra's 4G network, but not its enhanced 4GX network. We'll update our full phone comparison tool with the new ALDImobile prices once they go live at the end of the month.
