Sitting about 18km north-west of the CBD, Brisbane International Airport is Queensland’s largest airport.
It services Brisbane and its suburbs and offers more flight options to international and domestic destinations than the nearby Gold Coast Airport in Coolangatta and the Sunshine Coast Airport in Marcoola.
With the price of airport transfers to both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast going for more than $90 return for a single person, it can be much more cost-effective to drive yourself to the airport. We’ve taken a look at four of the most popular Brisbane airport parking companies and compared the prices for up to two weeks of parking.
We recommend comparing the prices of parking below to the cost of taking an Uber to and from the airport. For example, if your ride costs $25 each way - so $50 return - once you're travelling for two days or more it's likely cheaper to just catch a lift. Plus, use the below code to get $12 off your first fare.

Shuttle service from the car park to the airport terminals is included in the parking fee.
Airport parking lots in Brisbane are also located close to the cruise ship terminal at Portside Wharf, but not all lots will provide a shuttle service to the cruise port. Budget Airport Parking offers free transfers to the terminal from the park and cruise lot, but the closest airport parking lot to the wharf is Gateway Airport Parking.
Yes. The per-day airport parking rate decreases the longer you leave your car. However, most seem to have a standard day-by-day rate once you park for 14 days.
Most airport car parks offer some sort of security system, whether it’s CCTV surveillance or on-site security guards. Many of the lots offer 24-hour service, so there should always be a staff member to help if you’re in need.
Brisbane's airport is the largest airport in Queensland, offering the highest number of flights. With cities scattered along the Sunshine State's coast, it's often easier to drive a few hours down to Brisbane rather than taking a regional flight to connect in Brisbane.
If you've got a long drive ahead of you and an early flight to catch, it may be wise to drive in the day prior and stay at an airport hotel. Here are some of our top picks, based on how close they are to the airport:
