Airbnb is giving you the chance to spend a night in a LEGO house
Fall asleep surrounded by 25 million bricks.
LEGO fanatics, this is not a drill. Repeat. This is NOT a drill.
A house made entirely of LEGO which you can walk around, play in and sleep in has just opened in Billund Demark. And to celebrate Airbnb are offering one lucky family the chance to spend a night inside.
Err - where can we sign up?
The stay is for 24-25 November 2017 only and entry is open to residents around the world.
To be in the running, you'll have to visit the LEGO House listing on Airbnb here and answer the question: "If you and your family had an infinite supply of LEGO bricks, what would you build?"
Be creative and be honest because the winner not only nabs a night's stay in the house but the chance to work with master builder and design manager specialist of LEGO Group Jamie Berard to create their winning entry. What else is included in the prize? More than you can imagine:
- Flights for four from anywhere in the world
- A chance to build your lunch out of LEGO bricks and have it turned into real food
- Being served your lunch by robot waiters
- Endless LEGO play
Naturally, the house itself is a LEGO wonderland. The bedrooms alone feature a six-metre long LEGO waterfall, beds that float in pools of LEGO and LEGO Duplex and teddy bears, alarm clocks, story books and a pet cat made entirely of LEGO.
Within the complex, you'll find a Tree of Creativity, which comprises of over six million bricks, as well as experience zones where you can direct a movie, build robot cars, design cities and more.
When the day is done, we highly recommend slumping into your LEGO armchair and turning on your LEGO TV. Or playing in a pool of LEGO. Whatever suits your fancy.
Of the competition, Airbnb's general manager for UK and Nordics James McClure says, "Airbnb is all about helping people find magical and unforgettable experiences. What could be more magical than having the brand new LEGO House all to yourself for the night?
