If you're a fan of Michael Jordan, you need to own this "Fearless" pair of Air Jordan 1 Retro OGs.

If you don't own a pair of Jordans, then are you really a sneaker head? The statement styles and limited-edition picks are only for those truly devoted to the streetwear game. A new iteration is about to drop, called the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Fearless – but there's something special about these ones.

Release date: 2 November

Price: Approximately $240

Where to shop: Nike and possibly other stockists like JD Sports or Platypus Shoes.

What makes this pair of kicks so special? Well, it's in celebration of the tenth anniversary of Michael Jordan's induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. The Jordan brand behind Nike is honouring these sneakers to Michael and we love this idea. The design exudes a cool heritage vibe with all the elements crediting the basketballer in one way or another.

We are obsessed with the split-coloured panels arriving in patent leather. The shades of cherry red, periwinkle blue and a stark white and black make a serious statement. The outsoles and overlays have a Chicago Bulls flair, and the iconic Air Jordan "wings" logo is featured in a black and gold colourway. One of our favourite parts? The insoles that showcase text graphics of Michael Jordan quotes like "Limits, like fear, are often just an illusion". This pair of kicks is a true representation of the basketballer and all he has achieved in his life.
