Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 827 sneakers: First look and release date
Get ready to update your sneaker rotation with these three new colour-blocked styles.
After several teasers, a collaboration between New York fashion brand Aimé Leon Dore and sneaker brand New Balance has officially been announced. The duo is set to release three iterations of the 827 sneaker in bold, colour-blocked designs that will immediately refresh your sneaker supply.
Release date: Saturday 14 March
Where to buy: Aimé Leon Dore online
Aimé Leon Dore took to Instagram to share the first images of the collaboration earlier in the week and it's already seen a huge amount of online hype. Each pair of the kicks sees a white mesh upper paired with bright red, blue, yellow, black and green accents. Suede overlays decorate the silhouette, while white laces and coloured heel tabs finish off the design.
The retro sneakers are not the only thing to come from the partnership either, with the label also sharing images of accompanying tonal apparel. From what we've seen so far, there will be an absolute ton of gear to choose from including windbreakers, shorts, runnings caps, knit beanies, hoodies, crewnecks and tees.
The collection is set to drop onto the Aimé Leon Dore online store from 11am this Friday in America, which equates to around 2am on Saturday here in Australia.
While there's no word yet on if you'll be able to shop the collection anywhere else, we are hoping to see it appear on the Australian New Balance site shortly after. It may also arrive at usual Aimé Leon Dore stockists such as SSENSE and END., so be sure to keep an eye out.
