Afterpay Day is back and bigger than the last event. And this time it's come with a twist.

Afterpay fanatics get ready. Your favourite event is back! Yes, the hugely successful Afterpay Day sale event is running again and it will be here in just a week! But this Afterpay Day sale isn't just a regular sale. What's the twist? This particular event is called AfterBae and is timed to start on Valentine's Day.

The sale will officially start at midday on 14 February and will run for 24 hours until midday on 15 February – which gives us all plenty of time to shop up a storm. Naturally, the only stores involved are those that currently offer Afterpay at the checkout, so of course you'll be able to Afterpay every single one of your purchases.

The inaugural Afterpay Day sale took place on 30 August last year and was easily one of the most successful sales events of the year. And it's not hard to see why. The discounts available in the previous event were hugely competitive even when compared with big events like Black Friday. Just a few of the big discounts available include 25% off sitewide at Cotton On, 30% off selected items at City Beach, 15% off sitewide at Zanui and 20% off 1000s of items at THE ICONIC.

More than 70,000 orders were processed during the August 2017 Afterpay Day and during the first hour of the sale, 1.5 orders were processed per second!

Stores like Princess Polly and Glue Store experience record breaking sales and traffic levels. According to Princess Polly CEO Wez Bryett: “We've never seen this level of traffic and sales before. Our customers love Afterpay and have been very excited by this event.”

We can only hope that the event next week will be just as good. And hopefully, discounts will be even better!

Stay tuned to see more information as soon as it breaks. Or head to the Afterpay Day sales page on finder to see a selection of the discounts from the last event.
