Yecheil from adidas Yeezy is here and it's something very different to the standard minimalist colourways.

Nothing says Merry Christmas like a brand new pair of adidas Yeezys! If you don't already own a pair, then now is the perfect time to make it happen. One of the first sneakers from the holiday releases is here and this is definitely something we didn't expect to see from the sneaker collaboration. Introducing the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 in the colourway called Yecheil – we are obsessed.

Release date: 15 December. This could change as it gets closer to the date, but we believe it will be sometime during the month of December. It's the perfect Christmas present!

Price: Approximately $325

Where to shop: adidas or you can check out some of our favourite stockists like Mr Porter, SSENSE and Barneys.

This is definitely something different from the usual styles we see from adidas Yeezy. The tonal palettes are usually muted and very minimal so we love all the flecks of colour going on right now. If you were looking for a break from those earth-based hues, these are the kicks for you. A plain black Primeknit sits as the base, but this is accented with coloured threads. There's a hint of white and plenty of bright red. The midsole is black with white Boost cushioning to really complete the look and tie in all the colours perfectly.
