What’s in the adidas x Star Wars sneaker collaboration?
The line-up of intergalactic kicks is finally here and no, they're not a piece of junk.
As we gear up for the finale of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, we can expect a whole lot of new merch to celebrate the franchise. Always on the ball when it comes to pop culture collaborations, adidas is already leading the charge, having just dropped an entire range of sneakers for the occasion.
Where to shop: adidas, JD Sports, Foot Locker
We got a first look at the line a while back, with the label releasing the first images of an X-wing inspired sneaker. Featuring a grey, silver and black upper with pops of orange, the shoe is the perfect accessory for rebel scum.
A side-view of the starfighter appears on the white Boost sole, while the Jedi Order insignia is marked on the laces. Special insoles, co-branding on the tongue and the famous "The Force Will Be With You Always" message on the heel tab round out the design.
We also had a glimpse at a second pair that draw inspiration from the most iconic spaceship from the saga – the Millennium Falcon. Letting you easily outrun Imperial ships, the design comes in a light and dark grey colourway with the instantly recognisable Falcon printed on the sole.
Similar to the first design, the Falcon edition features Rebel Alliance branding on the laces and lace tips, while "Jump to Lightspeed" text appears on the heel tab. Observant fans will also note the blue pipe detailing that features on the heel as a nod to the many hyper-drive fuelled escapes made throughout the movies.
Now that the full line is finally available to shop, there is also a ton of other styles to choose between. From a pair of R2-D2 themed Nite Joggers to a sinister Sith reimagining of the adidas Originals NMD R1s, there's something for every fan in this collection.
The Star Wars range also sees several women's editions as well as small versions for kids, like the adorable mini Stormtrooper Superstar Originals.

The adidas label previously released another Star Wars sneaker range based around the brand's basketball silhouettes, with some pieces from the line still available to shop from the adidas site.
The Rise of Skywalker is in cinemas on 19 December.
