What’s in the adidas x Raf Simons Ozweego chrome collection?
Find out when you can get your hands on a pair of these 70s-inspired kicks.
If you're in the market for some new sneakers, adidas has you covered. The mega sportswear brand has once again teamed up with Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons to bring you some seriously cool new styles that you'll want to shop immediately.
The capsule collection will see the adidas Ozweego silhouette reimagined in six sleek new colourways. The heavily panelled upper arrives in hues of black, grey, red, blue, cream and pink, making it easy to pick a pair to suit your aesthetic.
They eye-catching element of the design is saved for the lower half which is covered in a chrome silver detailing that you can practically see yourself in.
The original Ozweego silhouette was released in the late 90s and was later reintroduced with Simons in 2013. The latest maximalist iteration is inspired by the '70s glam rock era that was central to Raf Simon's inspiration for the season.
Since joining forces with adidas, Raf Simons has racked up a huge following thanks to his love of bulky silhouettes and colourful dad-style shoes, which are currently right on trend.
When and where can you shop the collection?
The adidas x Raf Simons Ozweego chrome collection is set to be released on 23 May both on the adidas site and in select stores worldwide. This means that we'll likely see them drop into Platypus Shoes and Rebel Sport not long after.
In other adidas news, the brand has recently turned a hand at pop culture, teaming up with both Game of Thrones and Marvel. The label has also just released a second angelic collection with Fiorucci, if you feel like the 90s are more your era.
