What’s in the adidas x Pokémon collection?
adidas is about to drop a brand new Pokémon collection and you're going to want it all.
Just in case you thought the Pokémon craze had died down again, adidas is here to prove you wrong. The mega sportswear brand has just revealed a sneaker and apparel line celebrating the cult-favourite pocket monsters and it's enough to make you want to re-download Pokémon Go.
Release date: Select pieces available now
Where to buy: adidas
The range features men's, women's and kids' apparel and sneakers featuring throwback 8-bit Pokémon graphics. The standouts from the line have to be the sneakers, with two kids' shoes arriving in the form of both the Advantage and Hoops Mid 2.0 silhouettes.
The adidas Advantage has been refreshed with a sleek white upper and black heel panel paired with fresh white laces. Various pixelated Pokémon decorate the sock lining while Pikachu appears on the lateral side.
The Hoops Mid 2.0 meanwhile sees a black and white upper paired with multicoloured eyelets and outsoles. Charmander, Eevee, Bulbasaur and several others appear on the adidas branding at the rear of the sneaker.
A black pair of adults' Phosphere shoes featuring subtle Pokémon prints on the tongue and sock lining is also rumoured to be dropping, though no images seem to be available at this stage.
If it's apparel that you're after, you'll also be able to pick up black and white adults' tees featuring the adidas slogan surrounded by original Pokémon. A black and white sports jacket with the words "Pokémon Trainer" printed on the back and a range of kids' tees will also be available.
So far, the kids' Advantage sneakers are the only item from the line to appear online at adidas Australia, though we should be seeing the rest of the collection fairly soon. We recommend keeping your eye on the site if you're keen to get your hands on the rest of the line.
