adidas UltraBOOST 1.0

The stark colourway is making a comeback five years after it was made famous by Kanye West.

Widely considered the "sneaker of the year" for 2015, adidas' UltraBOOST 1.0 in "Triple White" is a minimalist's dream. Now, the colourway is set to make a comeback, with a re-launch scheduled for May of this year.

Release date: 17 May (US)

Price: US$180

Where to buy: Foot District, Stadium Goods

The Triple White iteration of the classic kicks features a white Primeknit upper paired with a white Three Stripe midfoot cage. A small adidas logo appears in white on the tongue tab, while the laces arrive in, you guessed it, white.

In fact, the only pops of colour on the style arrive in the form of a track spiked black outsole and metallic silver UltraBOOST branding on the rear of the shoe.

The colourway saw a surge in popularity after Kanye wore them while performing at 106's PowerHouse 2015 concert. While half a decade may have passed since then, fans have not forgotten, with the re-release announcement already racking up a huge amount of hype online.

If you are hoping to snap up a pair, you'll be able to do so from sites like Foot District come 17 May. We are expecting the kicks to be an immediate sellout when they land, so be sure to get in quick when they drop.⠀

You can also grab a pair now from Stadium Goods, though be prepared to pay a heavily inflated price for them. While the re-release price is expected to be US$180, Stadium Goods is currently selling them for around US$340 (approximately AUD$587).
