Designed by Stella McCartney, adidas is about to drop a vegan and rainbow edition of the iconic Stan Smith style.

This isn't the first time adidas has collaborated with Stella McCartney. We've loved the 3D printed vegan shoe, as well as the clothing collection. However, we are loving the rainbow (and vegan) Stan Smith sneaker. This is everything you need to know!

Release date: 2 December

Price: Approximately $447

Where to shop: adidas and Stella McCartney online. It's not confirmed which stockists you'll be able to buy from, but we recommend keeping an eye on Net-A-Porter, THE ICONIC and MATCHESFASHION.

Stella McCartney is well-known for her sustainable practices in fashion, so we were expecting the designer to re-do a classic adidas style. The construction of the shoe is made without cruelty, with the rainbow Stan Smith arriving in a beautiful and high-quality white vegan leather. The Three Stripes pattern is re-done into laser-cut stars, making the sneaker look really unique.

It also comes with two sets of interchangeable laces, one in rainbow and the other in white. The best part? We are seriously obsessed with the portrait on the tongues. Usually you see the head of Stan Smith on both shoes, but now, he is accompanied by Stella McCartney and it's a really nice touch to finish off the shoe.
