Find out when and where you can get your hands on the "Chicago" sneaker, made for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.

The archived adidas Pro Model silhouette is getting a "Chicago" makeover, paying homage to the city in shades of red, white and gold.

The colour scheme just so happens to be associated with the 2020 NBA All-Star Game being held in the city of Chicago.

Release date: 5 February. This is a US release date, so it could take a week or two for the sneakers to hit Aussie retailers.

Price: US$90.

Where to shop: adidas. It's not confirmed which stockists will also be grabbing the shoe. In the meantime, you can shop anything adidas from stores like JD Sports, Platypus Shoes, HYPE DC and THE ICONIC.

This new sneaker is so aesthetically pleasing, and we are obsessed.

Instead of the signature Three Stripes detailing, adidas has chosen to head in a different direction. "Chicago" is spelt out down the middle panel. It arrives in an off-white shade, with a varsity-styled font.

We're spotting some more embroidery at the rear – four white stars line the black heel tab. Gold foil has also been placed on the rear and the tongue tab, nodding off the iconic adidas Trefoil branding.

The craftsmanship of this shoe is really top-notch. The main construction is made out of a smooth red suede, with gorgeous leather accents to give it some balance.

To round off the rest of the silhouette, adidas has chosen to add an off-white rubber shell toecap and matching cupsole.
