Adidas is the most popular fashion brand with millennials
New data shows that Adidas is the fashion brand that nabbed the highest number of millennial customers in the last year.
YouGov BrandIndex just unveiled the results of its latest survey, which shows that we millennials love our Adidas.
The survey ranked the brands that recorded the biggest gains in current millennial customers, defined as how many millennials bought the product or visited the website in the last 30 days.
Sitting in the top 10, along with brands like Uber, Instagram and Spotify, is Adidas. The brand recorded a 3.4% increase in current millennial customers since the previous survey last year. This makes Adidas the tenth-best performing company and the best performing fashion company in the survey.
It's no surprise really when you take a look at what Adidas is doing. The brand's enormously successful collaboration with Kanye West to create the Yeezy Boost sneakers has propelled the popularity of Adidas to epic proportions. In addition, Adidas appointed millennial poster child and model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner as its brand ambassador in March.
Also in the top 20 are Puma and Calvin Klein. Like Adidas, Puma also has a Jenner ambassador. Kylie Jenner has been representing the brand for over a year now. And Calvin Klein, a brand that has always been renowned for its ambassadors and ads, has recently featured a host of millennial models in its campaign, including Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner (of course) and Bella Hadid.
So it looks like anything these Insta-famous millennial models feature in turns to gold.
