adidas ZX8000 “Hanami” pack: This is your first look

These kicks are subtly inspired by the upcoming cherry blossom season.
adidas is about to drop the "Hanami" kicks and it's covered with floral transitions.
Cherry blossom season brings with it an array of sneaker drops inspired by the picturesque event.
At the beginning of the year, Nike dropped Air Force 1 '07 Cherry Blossom kicks and Converse recently introduced a "Sakura" Chuck 70 collection.
Now, it's adidas' turn.
adidas is set to release the "Kirschblütenallee" collection and it's in honour of Japan and Germany's historical relationship. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, Japan raised over €1 million EUR during the Hanami/Yozakura Festival.
The pack features two different colour ways – a pastel pink called the "Hanami" and a grey/blue iteration called the "Yozazkura".
Both kicks integrate cherry blossom graphics, but they're actually placed on the insoles, making it a quirky little surprise.
The pretty in pink sneaker is inspired by the actual Prunus petals, and this is obvious with the variation of pink hues. It's got some details coloured in a dark red and this helps to give the sneaker some needed dimension.
The blue sneaker takes on a much more muted approach and we are a big fan of the style. The main hue may be boring to some, but it makes these kicks really wearable.
When you take a closer look, you'll notice the light pink detailing (but it's definitely not a noticeable feature).
