Why 90s fans will love the newest Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks
If the 90s-supermodel look is your mood, then we have some fabulous news for you.
Charlotte Tilbury, heralder of smoky bedroom eyes and pretty, pink and pillowy lips, has something new in the works. This makeup artist and founder of the eponymous brand has always been inspired by stylish celebrities and eras of Hollywood. And the latest inspired creation (and probably greatest if you ask me) is a collection of lip colours inspired by the era of the 90s supermodel. You know what we're talking about. Think Cindy Crawford in that Pepsi Ad. Think Kate Moss in that iconic sheer slip at the Elite Model Agency Look of the Year party. Think Naomi Campbell stomping down the catwalk in the 1992 Gianni Versace runway show. You know, that look. And Charlotte Tilbury seems to have bottled it and transformed it into three perfect lipstick shades.
The three shades are Super Nineties, Super Model and Super Sexy. Super Nineties of course is a browny-nude shade, the perfect accompaniment to glam eye and big hair. Super Model is a nude-pink like the kind you would pair with a slightly darker lipliner for that sultry look Pamela Anderson is famous for. Finally, Super Sexy is a darker pink with a slight brown tone, the kind of lip colour you saw on models like Claudia Schiffer, Amber Valletta or Elle MacPherson.

These new colours are part of Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution line of lipsticks. The formula is a mostly-matte finish but with a creamy non-drying texture that doesn't set or flake off. I've tried the Walk of Shame colour in the same formula so I can personally vouch that these lipsticks definitely deliver on their promises.
When and where you can buy them
These fabulous shades are already available online at Charlotte Tilbury's website. You can even find sets that come with a matching liner. I may have already bought the Super Nineties set. The lipsticks are $49 and the sets are $75.
You can also shop Charlotte Tilbury at Net-a-Porter and Cult Beauty.
