71 cent burgers at Hard Rock Café Sydney today
Run!!! Hard Rock Café Sydney is celebrating its Founder's Day (14 June 1971) with burgers at 1971 prices.
That's 71c if you haven't cottoned on.
But there's a catch. This price will only be available for the first 71 customers.
Burger lovers of Sydney, did we mention you should start running?
The burger taking on this cheaper-than-chips price is the café's Legendary Burger. It's an Aussie burger with an 8oz patty, melted cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, crisp seasoned bacon, beetroot, a fried egg, lettuce and vine-ripened tomato. "It's a good burger", says Jess from Hard Rock who encourages you to "come down!" to try it. You never know, you could be the burger hound who snaps this baby up for cheap.
The place to be? Hard Rock Sydney, Level 2 Harbourside Centre, 2-10 Darling Drive.
The restaurant opens at 12pm. But we all know that means you should go ASAP to get in line.
For those of you who don't want to chance your luck, or are unlucky enough to miss this deal, Hard Rock Café is also hosting a World Burger Tour throughout June and July. This will see the venue serve over 160 different burgers created by chefs at Hard Rock Cafés from around the world. The winner will be crowned at the end of July.
Burgers on the list include the Aloha Burger (from Honolulu, obviously), which features Portugese sausage, a grilled pineapple right and pico de gallo; a Frito Crunch Burger (from Hollywood), which features chorizo, queso fesco cheese and a fried jalapeño; and the Whiskey Bacon Cheeseburger (from Brussels), which comes topped a mouthwatering whiskey marinade.
