1. Cotton On
Last year's deal: 40% off site-wide.
Last year, the Cotton On sale included all the brands in the Cotton On portfolio, such as Typo and Rubi Shoes. We've got our money on Cotton On having a similar deal this year since Black Friday is getting bigger in Australia. We're predicting we'll see at least 30% off site-wide, if not the full 40% again.
2. New Balance
Last year's deal: 50% off everything and free shipping
We have a pretty good feeling that New Balance will do this one again in 2017. New Balance is one of those brands that generally doesn't discount too often but goes all out for sale periods, so we think this year's Black Friday will be big like last year.
Last year's deal: The Super Cyber Sale - 30% off clothing, 50% off sheets, 30% off lingerie, 45% off Dyson vacuums plus more.
So Myer's Black Friday weekend sale (which extended into Cyber Monday) was kind of a big deal last year. It was hard to find something the store hadn't put on sale. We're predicting the store could go even bigger this year. It's no secret that Myer isn't doing too well financially and a huge Black Friday could be just the thing to trigger a sales uplift. At finder.com.au, we're confident the store will go big this year too.
Last year's deal: 50% off selected styles
Getting 50% off is a pretty epic deal when it comes to designer sunglasses. Historically, Sunday Somewhere has always joined in during big sale periods, so we have a gut feeling that they'll jump on the Black Friday bandwagon again.
Last year's deal: 20% off site-wide
Okay, 20% off isn't that big, but it's kind of a big deal for Sephora because this store basically never has sales. This sale was so popular last year that it crashed the site. I was up at midnight when the sale started and the site went down completely. We're quietly confident that Sephora will do this exact sale again this year. Advice to anyone wanting to shop this one, be awake when the sale starts because when you wake up, all the things you wanted will be sold out.
