The limited-run Frozen Edition models headline the updated 2022 BMW X3 and X4 ranges, which are set to arrive in Australia in Q2 2022.

BMW's updated 2022 X3 and X4 ranges are set to be ushered in with a pair of exclusive Frozen Edition models priced from $142,900 drive-away.

Limited to just 17 units for the X3 M40i Frozen Edition and 20 for the X4 M40i Frozen Edition, both models are highlighted by an exclusive BMW Individual Frozen Deep Grey metallic paint finish.

In addition to the unique paintwork, both models are also upgraded outside with an M Shadow Line kidney grille finished in high-gloss black, carbon fibre mirror caps and M Sport brakes with high-gloss red calipers.

Additionally, the X4 M40i Frozen Edition exclusively features a carbon fibre rear boot lid spoiler.

Inside, both models are enhanced with black Vernasca leather upholstery with red contrast stitching and a Sensatec instrument panel also featuring red stitching, marking the first time either has been available on the X3.

M seatbelts with tri-colour stitching and carbon fibre interior trim round out the updated package.

Both the X3 and X4 M40i Frozen Edition continue to utilise the same 3.0-litre straight-six turbo charged engine which produces 285kW and 500Nm, and propels both from 0–100km/h in 4.8 seconds.

Both models are available to order now through BMW's website, with a $2,500 reservation fee required.

Deliveries of the updated 2022 BMW X3 and X4 are set to commence in Q2 2022.
