This year is all about bringing business back to the Australians who need it most.

The wait is officially over and the Click Frenzy™ local travel deals for 2020 have dropped.

In an effort to help rebuild bushfire-affected communities and to reduce the spread of COVID-19, this year's sale event only features domestic travel and small businesses.

From campgrounds in Victoria to Hamilton Island stays, the options for your next backyard getaway are extensive. Plus, rather than just running for one day, this year's Click Frenzy™ is extended until midnight 19 March. That gives both Aussie bargain hunters and local small businesses a better chance to take advantage of the deals and attract new customers.

We've looked over all the deals and these are the ones we think offer the biggest bang for your buck. Remember, check conditions for changes or cancellations carefully. Given the current pandemic problems, bookings for later in the year are less likely to need changes.

Lakes Entrance is just one of the many places in need this year, and you can make the most of it when you stay for three but only pay for two.

Attractions include sunset walks along Lakes Entrance Beach, the Lonsdale Eco Cruise, Griffiths Sea Shell Museum and the Entrance walk.

How does this year compare to last year's savings?

Last year saw some pretty awesome savings, and due to a change in circumstances, this year won't have as many deals available. However, this does not mean less money is being put back in your pocket; in some cases, you'll actually be saving more.

In 2019, Flight Centre dropped a bombshell sale that included up to 64% off holiday deals. This year, you can make the most of 70% off domestic holiday packages – that's an extra 6% in savings.

We also saw the likes of RedBalloon reduce prices for gift vouchers of $150+ by 15% and Oaks Hotel, Resorts & Suites dropped up to 50% off holidays. This year has Klook reducing its experiences by $30 and Oaks Hotels offering up to 40% off its stays. Although it's less than last year, you can still get a hot saving!

This year, we've also seen Whitsundays Palm Bay Resort drop its prices from 30% off and Hamilton Island Holiday Homes offer 20% off its pristine island stays.
