1. Fallout

Fallout is a live-action adaptation of Bethesda's bestselling video game franchise. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic alternate reality and follows the descendants of underground fallout shelters as they return to the surface for the first time.

2. Ripley

Ripley is a new adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's 1955 crime novel The Talented Mr. Ripley, which was previously brought to the screen by the late, great Anthony Minghella in 1999.
Shot by the Academy Award winning cinematographer Robert Elswit (Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood), the series is heavily inspired by noir with all 8 episodes shot in sumptuous black-and-white.

3. Tom Jones

Tom Jones is the latest adaptation of Henry Fielding's classic novel about the pitfalls of polite society in 18th century England.
The 4-part series stars Australian actress Sophie Wilde as the virtuous Sophia Western and Solly McLeod as her titular love interest.

4. Star Trek: Discovery

The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery is now streaming on Paramount Plus.

5. A Gentleman in Moscow

Set during the Bolshevik Revolution, A Gentleman in Moscow follows the plight of Count Alexander Rostov (McGregor), a Russian aristocrat imprisoned in a hotel in Moscow. 6. Parasyte: The Grey

Parasyte: The Grey is a South Korean science-fiction horror series based on the critically acclaimed manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
The premise is not dissimilar to The Last Of Us, with alien parasites hosing and taking over humans, complete with grotesque facial mutations. However, instead of being mindless zombies, these parasites are hyper intelligent.
Parasyte: The Grey will be releasing on Netflix on April 5.

7. Shōgun
Year: 2024
Cast: Hiroyuki Sanada, Yoshii Toranaga, Cosmo Jarvis, John Blackthorne, Anna Sawai
Based on the best-selling novel by James Clavell, Shōgun takes place in feudal Japan during the chaotic onset of the Edo period.
With epic battle scenes, political intrigue and lashings of sex and violence, it is being described as Game of Thrones with samurai.
Now onto its seventh episode, the series continues to impress with its stunning production values and complex characters.

8. X-Men '97
Year: 2024

X-Men '97 is a 10-episode revival of the popular X-Men: The Animated Series which ran from 1992 to 1997. (Shouldn't it be called X-Men '98?)
Produced by Marvel Studios, X-Men '97 uses a similar animation style and many of the same voice artists, making it a must for fans of the original series.
The plot picks up after the events of X-Men: The Animated Series with the X-Men facing new challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X.

9. Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans

Creator Ryan Murphy's award-winning anthology returns with Feud: Capote vs The Swans. This time around the focus is writer Truman Capote. He ingratiated himself into the lives of some of New York's most elite women, who he dubbed his "swans". He ultimately betrayed them by writing a thinly veiled fictionalisation of their lives and was banished from high society. This sent him into a spiral of self-destruction.
Not only is there the high bar of the previous instalment of Feud, but the names in the ensemble cast are jaw-dropping.

10. Masters of the Air
Year: 2024
Cast: Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan, Ncuti Gatwa
Masters of the Air follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group as they conduct bombing raids over Nazi Germany. Along the way they grapple with frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and the general terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air. The show portrays the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy Hitler's Third Reich.
Made by the executive producers of the equally epic Band of Brothers and The Pacific, Masters of the Air might not reach the same heights, but is still worth getting on board.
